S.J.Perillo is a poet and taxonomist who writes for children. Her poem whale cloud featured in the Fiona Waters anthology, Tiger Tiger Burning Bright, Noisy Crow 2021, was short-listed for the Lipper Book Awards.
A member of both adult and child poetry stanzas as well as the Society of Authors and the New Zealand Society of Authors.
In addition to writing and teaching poetry in school, S.J. Perillo has a horticultural practice spanning both the U.K. and N.Z.
